Our interactive and
exciting classes in creative movement and pre ballet are
designed specifically for children ages 3-6. Our courses
combine dance and physical education, which has been shown
to positively influence the physical and mental development
of children. Our
classes can greatly increase the development of your child's
coordination, technique, focus, dedication, rhythm,
musicality, stretching, and even improve acting as we help
them turn their creativity into productivity. Every class is
designed to meet the needs of each individual child. In
order to achieve individual goals set for each child, we
recommend 2 to 3 classes a week.
Each child, upon audition, will have the incredible
opportunity to participate in the Winter and Spring
Productions.

muscles for increasingly difficult turns, elevated jumps, and
strong musicality.

pirouettes and jumps.
It's
never too late to learn ballet. Have you always dreamed of
taking ballet classes but feel like it's too late? Do you feel
like you are too old to get into a leotard and ballet slippers.
Although professional ballerinas start at an early age, it's
never too late to learn ballet. Adult ballet classes offer a fun
way to tone and tighten your body while learning the fundamental
techniques of ballet. If you have never danced before, a
beginner's class would be perfect for you. Beginner classes
start slowly, teaching the beginning positions of ballet, so
there is no reason to be intimidated. However, if you are a
former dancer and want to return to ballet after several years,
you will be placed in a class based upon your fitness and skill
level. Taking part in an adult ballet class is good for your
body as well as your mind. Besides promoting cardiovascular
fitness and good posture, ballet is very enjoyable for people of
all ages. Follow your passion and try a ballet class.
WHAT TO WEAR
If you feel uncomfortable wearing tights
and a leotard, simply wear a
T-shirt and sweatpants. Just be sure to wear something
that allows you to move freely
GYMNASTICS
There is, in
nearly every sport, an element of ballet. Gymnastics is of no
exception. Not only do gymnasts need the strength to lift
themselves high off the ground in their routines, but the
strength to land their elaborate jumps. In gymnastics,
oftentimes gymnasts are trained on a special floor that cushions
landings, however, this floor also enforces landing improperly
in a way that can cause a variety of injuries, specifically
injuries of the knees and back. In our gymnastics program, we
develop the technique needed to safely land and complete
strenuous movements, while also ensuring that the material that
is taught is sculpted to individually fit the needs of each
gymnast and their repertoire. We offer one-on-one coaching that
conditions gymnasts to implement the precision of ballet into
their routines, going through and cleaning each individual
movement with them. Additionally, we use a variety of different
stretches and exercises in order to develop the flexibility and
strength of our gymnasts. We work with gymnasts on turns, jumps,
and transitioning gracefully from each movement to the next,
fusing the artistry of ballet with the powerful nature of
gymnastics.
There is no element of forgiveness in the
nature of figure skating – skaters are forced to jump and land
on stiff ice. It is for this reason that we offer private
classes designed uniquely for the needs of skaters. We aim to
strengthen figure skaters enough in order for them to safely and
successfully complete these complicated landings with grace on
land, giving them a significant advantage when they try
implement these jumps on the ice. Whether or not skaters are
skating alone or with a partner (where they must also strengthen
themselves enough to either lift or be lifted), it is vital to
the well-being of skaters to pair the technique that ballet
teaches with the complicated tricks that skaters must
demonstrate on the ice. It is our goal to develop the
flexibility and strength of skaters on land, teaching them to
become more graceful and empowered on the ice.
